This is important !

Before using this PlugIn, you must first read and understand the licensing agreement which you will find in the file LicenceAgreement.html in the downloaded zip file.

This PlugIn is a product of Vaquita Software - independent from Vicon Motion Systems Limited.

Previous Versions

The name of the VPI file has been changed (twice now!) since the very first BETA version of the PlugIn.

If you have a previous version of the PlugIn (called "EventPAnalyser.vpi" or VaqEventAnalyser.vpi) you must do the following :-

• remove VaqEventAnalyser.vpi from your PlugIns folder.
• change the "EventAnalyser" folder name to "ParameterCalculator"
• open the newly-named ParameterCalculator folder
• rename the EventAnalyser.lic file as ParameterCalculator.lic

Do not delete or rename any other files.

Zip File Installation

Before starting, you need to know where your Vicon PlugIns folder is located. The default installation is "C:\Program Files\Vicon\PlugIns". If in doubt, look for the PlugIns entry in your Workstation.ini file.

Windows 2000

Installation can be done easily, directly from the Zip file.

• Double-click on the Zip file to open WinZip.
• Click the Extract button
• select your Vicon PlugIns folder as the extraction folder.
• Make sure "Use Folder Names" is ticked, so that WinZip will make extra folders for you inside your PlugIns folder.
• Click Extract

Windows XP

If you have WinZip installed, follow the procedure for Windows 2000.

Otherwise, using the default Windows ZIP utility

• open the ZIP folder,
• select all the files and folders,
• drag and drop them into the Vicon PlugIns folder

Manual Installation

You can manually install the files for the PlugIn, by copying the files from the ZIP onto your hard disk. Consult the PlugIns Files List for details.

Using the PlugIn

Now you can start Workstation (you'll need to quit Workstation first if it was already running). If there is any problem with the licence installation, you may see a message at this point. If you do, note that this is from the Vaquita PlugIn and will not affect the working of Workstation.

Uninstalling

To uninstall, simply delete the VPI file from the PlugIns folder, and the folder associated with the PlugIn and all its contents. Consult the PlugIns Files List for details.

Don't delete VaqLic.dll unless you are not using any other Vaquita PlugIn !
