Preferences Page

Introduction

The preferences page allows you to choose the files the PlugIn uses to find names of marker trajectories and analog channels. It uses the labels to compile the names which you see in the drop-down lists in the Event settings dialogs.

Trajectory Labels

Use this text box to define the MKR file you most often use for your trials. Use the "MKR File..." button to browse for the file.

It is not important if you choose a different MKR file to the one which is attached to the Subject in the trial.

Remember that the function of this is to allow the PlugIn to suggest variable names. You can override the suggestions by typing any variable name that you like when you are filling in the settings for a new Event type. See Threshold Event Settings for more details.

Analog Channels

This box is used to define the CAR file you use for your captures, which contains the labels that are used for your analog channels. Use the "CAR File..." button to browse for the file.

Since the CAR file is only used to suggest variable names, it is not important if it does not match the one actually used in trial capture.

If a channel exists in your trial which does not appear in the CAR file, you can simply ignore the suggested names which appear in the drop down list, and type the actual name that you want. See Threshold Event Settings for more details.
