Introduction

The Percent Event Dialogue is used to control how a particular type of event is generated in between a pair of other events.

These events are mainly useful for dividing periods between exisitng events into explicit portions, and can be used to provide a better defined search period for the Event Analyser or for the search period for the Threshold event detection.

Generate Event

Simply give a name for the event that you want to generate. You can select an existing name from the drop down list, or give a new name. Provide the context in which you want the event to appear on the right.

First Event and Last Event

Define two events to search for within the existing trial, and their contexts. You can use the same event for both, and choose whichever contexts you like.

Percent

The Percent value controls the time at which the new event will appear. A value of 0% will cause the new event to be defined at the same time as the first event. 100% at the same time as the Last event.

When the PlugIn runs, it will insert a new event at the % time given, for each matching pair of the First event and Last event that it finds.
