Captured
Event File
Event Lists
Keep Existing Data
The captured events are saved in a file which is shown as the Captured
Events File. You can create new files, and name them to reflect the type of
event series or motion data you are capturing.
You can choose a different events file simply by clicking on the arrow to
bring down a list of files to choose from.
To rename an event file, select it, and simply type a new name in the text part of the box.
This will create a new empty events file for you, with a default name.
This will copy the current events file, and give it a new default name.
This is useful when you want to capture the same set of events for different
subjects.
Removes the Events file. If you accidently press delete when you didn't
mean to, you can press the Cancel button, but you will lose any other changes
you had made.
The three list boxes show the events you have defined, separated into the
different contexts. When you run the pipline Event Capture process, the
PlugIn will capture the events in the order shown in the list, for each of
the contexts.
You can switch between the contexts by pressing the appropriate button at
the top of each list.
Selecting one of the events in the current context list will enable the buttons below the lists, which perform the folowing actions :-
This allows you to add a new event. Pressing this will open a new event
dialogue which you can fill in. Depending on the context for the event you
define, the new event will appear at the bottom of the appropriate context
list (even if that list is not selected).
This will allow you to edit the currently selected event in the current
context. If you change the context of the event, it will appear at the bottom
of the appropriate context.
This will delete the event from the list. If you make make a mistake,
press cancel - although you will lose any other changes you made.
If the current event is in the Left context, this will make a new
copy of that event in the right context. If the current is in the
right, it makes a copy in the left. When the plugin makes the copy, it
automatically swaps the context of the event, and attempts to change the
names of any of the capture trajectories if they begin with the letters "L",
"Left", "R" or "Right". In general, this saves a lot of time in defining new
events to capture when they occur on the left and right sides.
This moves the event up one position in the list. Use this to get your
events in the right order for capturing.

On occasions, you may want to capture different events from different trials. You can do this by running the capture process for each trial, defining different events for each trial. Having this option selected will prevent previously captured events from being deleted when there is no matching event defined in the trial.
If you do not select this option, the capture process will ensure that the captured data represents the events that are present in the trial - that is, if an event is not present, and cannot be captured, no captured data will be present in the captured data file.
